1. What is ARTCOWAY’s MOQ?

We do not have a minimum order quantity (MOQ). Orders starting from 1 piece are welcome.

2. What type of files does ARTCOWAY accept for quotation?

We accept 3D CAD files in STL, STEP, or IGES formats for quotation. For 2D drawings, please provide them in PDF format, including key dimensions and tolerance requirements where applicable.

3. How long does it take to receive a quotation from ARTCOWAY?

We normally provide quotations within 48 hours of receiving a complete RFQ and the required technical information. If additional time is needed, we will inform you as soon as possible.

4. How do I know my design will be kept confidential?

We take the confidentiality of your designs seriously. We are willing to sign an NDA or other confidentiality agreement upon request. We also follow strict internal confidentiality procedures, and access to customer drawings and project information is limited to relevant personnel.

5. What is ARTCOWAY’s lead time?

For orders of 1–10 pieces, the typical lead time is around 7 days, depending on the manufacturing process, material, surface finish, and part complexity. The estimated lead time will be clearly stated in our quotation.

6. Can ARTCOWAY help with design and engineering drawings?

We normally manufacture parts according to the customer’s drawings and CAD files. If your design has features that may not be suitable for manufacturing, we can provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) suggestions to improve manufacturability, quality, lead time, and cost.

7. What tolerances can ARTCOWAY achieve?

The following are general tolerance guidelines for reference:

CNC Machining: ±0.15 mm / 100 mm

SLA 3D Printing: ±0.10 mm / 100 mm

Vacuum Casting: ±0.20 mm / 100 mm

RIM: ±0.20 mm / 100 mm

Actual achievable tolerances may vary depending on the material, manufacturing process, part size, geometry, and critical features.

For critical dimensions, we recommend specifying the required tolerances directly on the 2D drawing. This helps us select the most suitable manufacturing process and provide a more accurate quotation.

8. What types of surface finishes does ARTCOWAY provide?

We offer a wide range of surface finishing services, including polishing, painting, plating, anodizing, powder coating, printing, and other customized finishes.

The available finish depends on the material and manufacturing process.

9. What are ARTCOWAY’s shipping terms?

Our standard shipping term is EXW (Ex Works). Under EXW terms, the customer is responsible for arranging transportation, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and other related charges after the goods are collected from our facility.

Other shipping terms can be discussed upon request.

10. Can ARTCOWAY arrange shipping for me?

Yes. If required, we can arrange shipping through our cooperative freight forwarders.

For small orders, we typically use international express services such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS. For larger shipments, we can arrange air freight or sea freight depending on the shipment size, destination, and customer requirements.
